Feel free to laugh at me this morning. I know that's what I'm doing.

I left my keys in my Panic hoodie, which I left at home as I raced out the door this morning.

My keyring contains my work filing cabinet key, as well as my stationery drawer key, to both of which I need access this morning. *headdesk*

I can get into the filing cabinet once my colleague returns from his adventures, because he also has a key. My stationery cupboard will have to stay locked until tomorrow.

I had a lovely weekend, though. Yay! Special mention goes to the effervescent kolb, with whom I had the opportunity to catch up last night.

Something I use quite frequently to stave off boredom - gtalk especially.

snorfl
Or, more accurately, *snorfl*. A noise made textually to indicate something caught awkwardly between amusement, exasperation and derisiveness. Handy to know.

LJ
I spend a ridiculous amount of time on LJ. I don't understand the attraction some people have to FB or other sites. Almost everything of interest to me currently resides in LJ-land. Friends and fandom in an interactive medium, what more could I want?

Reason
I am a fan of reason. I like things to make logical sense. I spend a lot of time puzzling things out so that they seem more reasonable. Unreasonable people annoy me more often than not. I find it curious that what passes for reason is often just opinion; that solid, objective reason is so frequently simply emotion or belief in disguise.

Nonsense
Hehehe! For all my appreciation of logic, I have a permanent place in my heart for the absurd, the backward, the circuitous and the amusing. My conversations often take detours through vast swathes of nonsensical landscape, to hilarious ends. Sometimes, this is deliberate. Sometimes, it is a by-product of being a twit.
